Bridge Lake Traditional Hybrid Timber Frame

Situated on Bridge Lake near 100 Mile House in British Columbia, you notice the superior craftsmanship of this hybrid timber frame home starting with the Port-cochere as you drive up to the front door. The handcrafted Douglas fir timbers continue throughout the inside of the home and out onto the expansive covered deck overlooking the lake. Tamlin’s project manager, site superintendent and build team spent almost a year building this home working with a mix of sub-trades from the local area and sub-trades from the Vancouver area.

This home was built on an unfinished basement. The large master bedroom on the main floor overlooks the lake and has sliding glass doors onto the deck. Up the custom open riser douglas fir staircase are two other bedrooms each with its own 3 piece ensuite bathroom and unobstructed lake view. They are located on either side of an open loft area. Timber frame accents the large carport and shop with an upper floor which complete this project.
