The Timber Frame architecture of this custom home is impressive from the over sized timber posts at the entry porch to the Douglas Fir eclipse style folding door unit to the walk out deck. The Hybrid Timber concept was used in the original design, where our Douglas Fir Timber frame is integrated into a conventional style framed roof. The bedroom ceiling for example has the timber trusses engineered and pocketed into the wood framed walls. A contemporary approach in design was the focus on this home, with just the right balance of wood features for the home and plenty of bright drywall to highlight the mortise & tenon joinery.
